For a VPN connection, I wanted to install a new Cisco AnyConnect Client Software on my Windows 7 machine. As I happened to already have an older version installed (Cisco VPN Client 5.0), I first wanted to uninstall the older client. Not that easy it turns out. The installed application didn't even appear in the list of "Programs & Features".
The first time I saw that message I uninstalled the Cisco VPN Client because I used it few times only a couple of years ago when I was working with a customer. Now I don't need it anymore. When you awaken your computer, re-establish the Cisco VPN session. I tried to remove VPN using a 3rd party software however VPN disappeared from Add/Remove programmes but didnot get properly unistalled from the computer. I tried to find a solution about this on the internet but couldn't find much information. Cisco website gives manual unistall intructions for earlier version in Win XP but not for vista.
